The entrepreneurial spirit of the late Mr. Chai Sing Hong, former Chairman / CEO of Chiram Strategic Group, had earned him a business empire which originated in his home country Malaysia and then expanded to Hong Kong, China and Australia.
Mr Chai’s experience in managing regional and international business operations contributed immensely to the success of the establishment in 2006 of Chiram Strategic Group which has interests in hotel equipment trading, spa consultancy and trading, food & beverage (with 9 reputable restaurant outlets and food logistics divisions).
Mr Chai Sing Hong set up Hong Kong’s first Black Stump restaurant at Knutsford Terrace ,Tsim Sha Tusi in 2006. He gave the roll out management of Shakey’s Pizza to the Group. The first Shakey’s Pizza in Hong Kong was successfully launched at the New Town Plaza shopping mall at Shatin on August 1, 2007.
Equip Asia Limited, the trading arm of the Group, has been expanding tremendously with the growth of 5 star hotels and fine dining restaurants in China, Hong Kong and Macau. In addition to representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Singapore; Chiram Strategic Group opened Equip Asia Macau in June 2007 primarily to service the growth of the Hotels and Casinos in Macau.
Mr Chai Sing Hong’s dedication & vision in the establishment of Chiram Strategic Group has led the group to become one of the most respected establishments in Asia Pacific for Hospitality and Food Service industry.
